Pastor Gary Long established the work about three years ago and has an average attendance of 30. He had previously been working as the Medical Procurement Officer at the Wasco State Prison 40 to 50 hours per week for the past 9 years and just didn’t feel he could continue at the prison and build a work for the Lord. His heart and his desire is in building a work in Rosedale. In 2006 Pastor Long became a full time California Missionary. 

Pastor Long is married to Melissa and they have three children who are currently enrolled in Free Will Christian Academy. They presently live in Shafter, California, which is approximately 12 miles from the mission work.
